We had a really great holiday here with our 3 children age 9, 7 & 4. So much for them to do, we were quite far away from the pools but plenty of free spaces to leave our stuff, kids spent all day in the pools. Cafes and bars ect are all reasonably priced. Only negative for us is the evening shows we're really late at 9.45 and the kids really wanted to watch them but couldn't physically stay awake we had to leave partway through!
There is no doubt that this resort has a lot of entertainment to offer and my son loved all the variety. It’s definitely aimed at kids…and parents to spend money on them till late into the night ;) I often felt like I was in a badly managed kindergarten with tons of overtired kids. Due to these reasons we mostly stayed at the beach and although it’s quite narrow, you are free to set-up as you like and it’s a lovely swimming beach. The bungalows are very comfortable and set in park like settings. Some of the reception staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional when there was a mistake made on our check-in, we were made to feel like an inconvenient number. There is also a €250 deposit demanded on check-in and no cleaning done during the stay with stipulations made on you as a guest for clearing up.
We went here for camping. After a few nights, we had rats in our tent when we wanted to go to bed. They bit a hole in our tent and ate our food. We stayed awake the whole night. Absolutely awful! The next day, we went straight to the reception of the hotel, explained our problem and asked if there is a possibility to get a bungalow or hotel room for the last 3 nights (unfortunately we had to stay around Venice because we had a train booked, otherwise we would have returned home straight away). Their offer was unaffordable to us. It was just way to expensive. So we decided to leave Pra' delle Torri and go in a hostel in Venice, which was much cheaper. We still had to pay the full price for our camping stay though. I think, for a 4 stars vacation center, it is not expected to much to get a discount on a hotel room or at least on the camping stay. I mean - they had rats on the area disturbing their paying customers!!! We have to buy a new tent because of this, had to trash all of our food and had to pay for a hostel in Venice. I have to admit though, apart from this horrible experience and the awful service afterwards, it was a nice stay. Bathrooms were very clean, and we really liked the swimming pool and beach area.
Amazing resort with loads to do. This year was our 6th visit and it was still as good as the first time. All the staff are very friendly. Facilities are great and they have got rid of the swimming hats. Will definitely be going back again.
We heard about this place before with warnings that it should be completely booked out for summer. It was not and booking was successful. Online check-in from home just make things much easier on arrival day at the reception. There was everything you need for family holidays - nice chalets, sandy beaches, lot of space for your tent (if you don't want to pay for sunbeds + umbrellas), nice and big water park, kids playground, store, pharmacy, animation for kids as well as for adults. If you tired of beach activities, you can go visit Caorle city near by, just 15 minutes of driving 😉 The only downsides were mosquitos, that bites you all the day and we just didn't feel it during the stay, but on the departure day, we found that we are mostly pinched than sun-tanned.. and we used the repellents all the time (except the time on the beach). Another downside was the AC, that just throw out the circuit breakers after a while.. with no reason. All the staff was very nice, but while technician was speaking only Italian (no blame), it was quite hard to explain what is going on. My summary: we will definitely spend another vacation here.
